Graduate in piano and postgraduate in harpsichordist, Elisa Wiermann during her erudite graduation tried to change experiences with musicians of different formations to obtain resources besides what a traditional school can supply. She discovered the infinites resources of the electronic keyboards that, allies to the academic technique and the general study of the Music, represent an incomparable tool in her works as composer and instrumentalist.  

Now she divides her composition work with Quaterna Réquiem, and the duet
 “Wiermann & Vogel” (they has just released the CD “A Mão Livre” in duet with
Kleber Vogel), with the classes that she supplies to the monks of the Monastery of São Bento of Rio de Janeiro, and her work as pianist and harpschordist  to several groups of chamber music and Brazilian orchestras. 7 years ago she was invited to implement a course of Musical appreciation and History of  Music for the Medium Teaching of the School of São Bento of RJ, where  she teaches regularly.
